Dennis Oli a 31-year-old striker who can also operate as a winger believes he is ready for a call-up to Jamaica's national team.

The Hemel Hempstead Town F.C. player, who plays in the Conference South, says he would prefer to play for Jamaica rather than Nigeria.

Oli was born in Newham to a Jamaican mother and a Nigerian father, but he says Jamaica gives him the best chance at playing at a World Cup and internationally.

And Oli says he has the experience playing at the likes of QPR and Swansea FC and believes his experience would be valuable to the Reggae Boyz team.

The six-footer further says the Reggae Boyz are missing a commanding figure who can control the tempo of the game and he hopes he can be that player.

According to Oli he just wants one friendly to prove himself.
