Arsenal are second, seven points behind Chelsea, after winning nine of their last 10 Barclays Premier League games, including the last seven, their best sequence since February and March 2012.

An eighth straight victory would represent their best winning run since January to March 2004 when the Gunners won nine in a row.

Manchester City's 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday leaves Arsenal in the best place to challenge Chelsea, though the Blues have a game in hand.

Arsenal beat Liverpool 4-1 last Saturday to secure their 21st win in 26 games in all competitions with Olivier Giroud scoring his 18th goal of the season and 10th in his last 10 games.

Burnley, who remain in the relegation zone, have scored one goal in their last five league games and have won just once in their last 10. In addition, the Clarets last beat Arsenal in September 1974 in London, drawing three and losing three of six subsequent league clashes.
