DELHI, India (CMC):

Sunil Narine and AndrÈ Russell had little impact, but Kolkata Knight Riders still did enough to beat Delhi Daredevils by six wickets in the Indian Premier League here yesterday. Playing at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi tallied 147 for eight off their 20 overs after being sent in, with Manoj Tiwary top-scoring with 32 from 28 balls and Shreyas Iyer, 32 from 24 deliveries. Narine claimed one for 38 from his four overs, while Russell went wicketless from three overs, which cost 21 runs.

In their turn at the crease, KKR were fired by a top score of 60 from captain and opener Gautam Gambhir, while Yusuf Pathan chipped in with an unbeaten 40 from 26 balls. Neither Russell nor Narine were called upon to bat. KKR have won three of their four games and lie third in the standings on six points.
