Edwin Allen closed out the Penn Relays in fine style after winning the  Championships of America Girl's 4x400 metres in 3:40.41 to retain their title and in the process made it two from two after winning the 4x100 metres earlier in the day.

The quartet of Davia Smith, Janiel Moore,  Shannon Kallawan and Saqkuine Cameron who was winning her second gold of the day had to work overtime as they had to stave off the strong challenge of Vere Technical who led for majority of the way before Cameron used her experience to bring them home.

Vere clocked 3:42.18 for second as Nonsemond River out of Virginia was third in 3:43.53. Holmwood Technical was fourth in 3:43.53 as it was disappointment once again for pre race favourite, St Jago who could only managed fifth in 3:43.96.

Cameron who was competing in her last race for her school was happy after disappointment at "Champs". "At Champs I was really disappointed with my performance and I am happy to know that I came back and helped my school to win another title on a big stage", said Cameron.

Once again head coach Michael Dyke stated that he was not surprised by the win." Coming here I was very confident as we knew that we had a team to win and we were not worried. We came here for two wins and we were able to do so and I am very happy for Saqkuine (Cameron) as she felt bad at "Champs" but she came here and delivered", said Dyke.
