Chas E. Ramson Limited will take their show on the road as headline sponsor of the Chas E. Ramson Grand Prix Road Race Series, which will also be powered by five of the company's top brands - Foska Oats, Elle &Vire, Kisko, Goodlife and Blue Diamond Almond Breeze.

The series, which is the brainchild of running group We Got The Runs (WGTR) JA - started in 2014 - will run from April 19 to December 5, 2015 with total cash prizes of over J$700,000.

It covers seven road races throughout the year, where persons in different running groups can enter and accumulate points. At the end of the year, the runners (male and female) and running clubs with the most points will win big cash prizes.

"The commitment from Chas E. Ramson Limited comes as part of our ongoing desire to partner with Jamaicans on their journey to a healthy lifestyle. Running events are on a surge in Jamaica, so it was only fitting that we headline this great series of events with our healthy brands Elle &Vire, Foska Oats, Goodlife Spring Water, Kisko Freezies and Blue Diamond Almond Breeze," stated Kathryn Silvera, advertising and marketing manager, Chas E. Ramson.

She added: "The series is made up of several 5Ks, a 7K, 8K and a half-marathon, and we will be at each event supporting our running groups and patrons with samples of our product line under these five brands. You can expect to see our much-loved Foska oatmeal instant porridge, almond breeze smoothies, among other items in each racing village."

Andrew Walcott, president of WGTR, listed some benefits of participation.

"We are very pleased with the partnership with Chas E. Ramson Limited and Running Events as this will help our Grand Prix to get the exposure needed to take running and team camaraderie to the next level.

"Running has become very popular in Jamaica, but we aim to ensure continued support throughout the years to help make Jamaicans choose healthier and more active lifestyles," he stated.
