NASSAU, Bahamas:
Jamaica's women’s 4x200m team of Samantha Henry-Robinson, Veronica Campbell-Brown, Shericka Williams and Sherone Simpson has won the silver medal at the IAAF World Relays in The Bahamas.

Despite crossing the line in third place in a time of 1:31.73, the Jamaicans were promoted to the silver medal spot after The Bahamas, who crossed the line in second, were disqualified for an illegal baton exchange.

Nigeria took the gold medal in 1:30.52 with Germany winning bronze in 1:33.61.

The USA also failed to finish after Jenebah Tarmoh ran into Allyson Felix on the last exchange to end their hopes of winning the event.
