World Relays: Bolt, Carter, Ashmeade, Bailey-Cole for 4x100m

NASSAU, Bahamas:
Six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt will be joined by Nesta Carter, Kemar Bailey-Cole and Nickel Ashmeade in the men's 4x100m at this evening's IAAF World Relays in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Bolt and his team-mates will be looking to successfully defend the title they won at least year's instalment and continue their dominance of the event, having not lost a sprint relay at a major international championships since taking the 2008 Olympic gold medal.

The Jamaicans will start from lane 8 in the first heat at 7:40 p.m. (6:40 p.m. Jamaica time) with Brazil, The Netherlands, Antigua, The Bahamas, Nigeria, Germany and Portugal for company.

Their main threat will come from the USA with Mike Rodgers, Tyson Gay, Justin Gatlin and Ryan Bailey expected to form their quartet.

The men's 4x100m final is set for today at 9:56 p.m. (8:56 p.m.).
