Nash hits 45 in English County Championship

Former West Indies vice-captain, Brendan Nash, missed out on a half-century as Kent were dismissed for 327 in their second innings against Glamorgan.

The left-handed Nash scored 45 to follow up his 34 in the first innings, when Kent piled up 357 in their County Championship match at St Lawrence Ground in Canter-bury yesterday.

This time, he batted just over 11/2 hours, faced 66 balls and counted eight fours. He added 51 for the fourth wicket with James Tredwell, who hit 53 opening the batting.

Set 404 to win after getting 281 in their first innings, Glamorgan were 32 for one at the close of the penultimate day.
