The Red Stripe Premier League final will be staged on an international platform as through a partnership with global sports network ESPN, there will be highlights, post-match analysis and discussion of the season-ending clash between defending champions Montego Bay United and the red-hot Arnett Gardens after tonight's final at the National Stadium.

ESPNFC.com will have the RSPL related content that fans of the league both here and abroad can enjoy. The network recently introduced analysis of the RSPL, which has heightened interest in the local league among Jamaicans in the diaspora. Assistant brand manager at Red Stripe, Toni Ann Reid, said the move was made by the title sponsors to further enhance the visibility of the local league.

"On the heels of this great season we thought that it was necessary to continue to legitimise the league on a national and international scale," Reid said. "We know that our fans really want that insight and thought it prudent to go to ESPN and get their insight of the Red Stripe Premier League and more so, it gives a lot of visibility on an international platform."

Fans can download the ESPN app on their phones that will allow fans to watch the final, a highlight show and post-match discussion and analysis.

And as if it needed anything else but the number one team taking on the defending champions in the final, the title sponsor is planning to make a spectacle of Monday night's final. The action on the field is expected to be fast-paced and exciting as both teams playing attractive, attacking football, but according to Reid, Red Stripe plans to make the occasion memorable for the thousands of football fans expected to turn out for the event.

"We will start out the night with the Jamaica Military Band, which was organised by Phase 3 Productions. After that I-Octane will come on for the pre-game show," she said. The brewers will also have beer specials throughout the match including the world-famous beer for $150. Reid said there will also be lots of giveaways for fans.

Agent Sasco will entertain the crowd at half-time and at the end of the game there will be a grand-coronation exercise with confetti and all the expected trimmings.
