Discarded West Indies all-rounder David Bernard Jr slammed an unbeaten century to put Kensington in a good position against St Catherine CA heading into today's second day of their Jamaica Cricket Association Senior Cup quarter-final replay at Chedwin Park.

Bernard Jr slammed two sixes and 10 fours in his103 not out, as Kensington declared at 333 for eight.

St Catherine, in response, were 14 without loss when stumps were drawn.

Also, getting among the runs for Kensington were Anthony Wadsworth, 67; Ryan Francis, 44; Leroy Lugg, 42; and Nicholson Gordon, 41 not out.

Another sidelined West Indies player, batsman and part-time leg-spinner, Nkrumah Bonner, took five for 77. Play is scheduled to resume today at 10 a.m.
