ATHLETICS: JADCO promises comfortable drug testing for National Trials

The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) says it will be doing everything to ensure that athletes participating at the National Trials feel comfortable when they are required to do a drug test this week.

The National Championship is slated for June 25 to 28.

Executive Director of JADCO, Carey Brown, says the agency's staff are well trained professionals and athletes should not be afraid to get tested whenever they are requested to do so.

Brown also says his organisation is mandated to clean up the sport and therefore, staff will be out in their numbers during the four-day championships.
