National Trials: Powell looks unstoppable ahead of 100m final, Blake out ... Fraser-Pryce, Campbell-Brown advance

 Asafa Powell looks unstoppable as he easily qualified to the 9:15 p.m. final of the men's 100m at the JAAA/Supreme Ventures National Senior Championships inside the National Stadium, while Yohan Blake's dream comeback was shattered.

Blake ran sixth in 10.33, way behind winner Powell, who eased to 10.04 ahead of Nesta Carter, 10.13 and Andrew Fisher, 10.20 in his semi-final.

In the second semi-final, defending champion Nickel Ashmeade, 10.21 was first across the line ahead of Kemar Bailey-Cole, 10.30 and Tyquendo Tracey, 10.33.

Veronica Campbell-Brown was the fastest qualifier to the women's final which gets underway at 9:00 p.m. with a 11.27 win, the same time given to Schillonie Calvert in second.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce also booked her spot with a 11.30 run to finish ahead of Kerron Stewart, 11.36 with Natasha Morrison winning the third heat in 11.34 ahead of Samantha Henry-Robinson, 11.35 and Sherone Simpson, 11.37.
