Traffic changes as CPL comes to town
Extensive traffic changes will be in place on roads close to Sabina Park during this week's Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 matches at the country's premier cricket venue.
The changes are being made to ensure the smooth staging of matches scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Jamaica Tallawahs will face the St Lucia Zouks tomorrow, Trinidad Red Steel on Thursday and Barbados Tridents on Saturday. All three matches will begin at 6 p.m.
Next Sunday, the Tallawahs will face the Guyana Amazon Warriors starting at 4 p.m.
According to a release from CPL, fans attending matches will be required to park their vehicles at the National Stadium Car Park. Thereafter, they will be shuttled to Sabina Park by the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) buses.
On match days, the JUTC will be providing a park-and-ride facility from the car park at the National Stadium to Sabina Park and back at a return cost of $200 per person.

Only VIPs, teams, match officials, JUTC buses, and other accredited vehicles will be allowed beyond these closures.
Glenmore Road at the intersection with South Camp Road will also be closed to vehicular traffic. In addition, North Street between South Camp Road and Central Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.
