Extensive traffic changes will be in place on roads close to Sabina Park during this week's Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 matches at the country's premier cricket venue.

The changes are being made to ensure the smooth staging of matches scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Jamaica Tallawahs will face the St Lucia Zouks tomorrow, Trinidad Red Steel on Thursday and Barbados Tridents on Saturday. All three matches will begin at 6 p.m.

Next Sunday, the Tallawahs will face the Guyana Amazon Warriors starting at 4 p.m.

According to a release from CPL, fans attending matches will be required to park their vehicles at the National Stadium Car Park. Thereafter, they will be shuttled to Sabina Park by the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) buses.

On match days, the JUTC will be providing a park-and-ride facility from the car park at the National Stadium to Sabina Park and back at a return cost of $200 per person.

As a result of the traffic changes, South Camp Road between Merrion Road and East Queen Street will be closed to the general motoring traffic from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. on match days. Traffic travelling from Up Park Camp direction intending to continue straight along South Camp Road will not be allowed, instead will be diverted along Merrion Road to access Upper Elletson Road via Victoria Avenue to their outward journey.

Traffic travelling from the lower section of South Camp Road and from East Queen Street intending to use South Camp Road will not be allowed to do so, instead will be diverted along Victoria Avenue via Upper Elletson Road; Merrion Road via Camp Road. Only VIPs, teams, match officials, JUTC buses, and other accredited vehicles will be allowed beyond these closures.

Glenmore Road at the intersection with South Camp Road will also be closed to vehicular traffic. In addition, North Street between South Camp Road and Central Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.

After each match, the JUTC will provide buses at Sabina Park going to the following locations: Half-Way-Tree Transport Centre, Downtown, Portmore, and Spanish Town.
