CPL Final: T&T Red Steel set 179 for Barbados Tridents to win

‎Defending champions, Barbados Tridents, have been set 179 runs by the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel to win this year's Hero Caribbean Premier League competition at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad.‎

The Red Steel, who won the toss and chose to bat first, piled up 178 for five of their 20 overs. 

Pakistan's Kamran Akmal led the way for the Red Steel with an attacking 60 off 46 balls. 

Akmal's innings included five-fours and two massive sixes. 

He received support from South Africa's Cameron Delport, who made 50 off 38 balls. 

The Red Steel's captain Dwayne Bravo chipped in with 29 off 15 balls.‎ 

Rayad Emrit, two for 25, and captain Kieron Pollard, two for 28, were the main wicket-takers for the Tridents.
