Cable & Wireless Communications has inked a three-year exclusive broadcast rights deal with the English Premier League.

Under the deal which runs from 2016 to 2019, Flow Sports network will broadcast the 380 English Premier League matches each season.

According to Cable and Wireless, Flow Sports Network which will be launched next month will also be the exclusive local broadcaster of the NFL and the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Meanwhile, Cable and Wireless says it has also been awarded the mobile clip rights for the Premier League from 2016 to 2019.

The company says acquiring this right will allow it to post Premier League videos on mobile devices.

"As the most popular league of the world’s greatest sport, the Premier League will be at the heart of Flow Sports, the region’s newest and largest sports network," said John Reid, President of CWC’s Consumer Division.

In November last year, C&W acquired Flow’s parent company Columbus Communications.
