Arsenal are second in the Barclays Premier League after beating Manchester United in style last time out, winning 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium, when all goals came in a remarkable 20-minute spell.

Having won 5-2 in their previous game, at Leicester City, the Gunners have scored eight goals in two games, more than the five they netted in their other six league games this season.

The win over United gives the Gunners 16 points, two fewer than leaders Manchester City, and five more than they had at this stage last season. However, in 2014 they had 19 at this stage and still failed to win the title, finishing fourth.

Arsenal's training ground is next to Watford's in the county of Hertfordshire, just north of London. Indeed, Watford's HQ was formerly used by the Gunners, but that is where the similarities stop.

Newly promoted Watford have had a reasonable start to life back in the Premier League, winning two games, at home to Swansea and at Newcastle, taking them to 12th place.
