On Tuesday, Manchester City beat Borussia Moenchengladbach 4-2, thanks to three goals in the final 11 minutes, enabling them to finish top of their Champions League group.

City, though, were knocked off the top of the Barclays Premier League last weekend when they were beaten 2-0 by Stoke City, enabling Leicester City to take the leadership.

Interestingly, City have failed to come back and win after being two goals or more behind in their last 59 attempts in the Premier League.

That loss at Stoke means that City have won only once in their last four league games, dropping eight points from a possible 12.

City have won six of their eight home games and scored 23 goals - the most in the Premier League.

Swansea arrive on the back of a poor run, having taken just one point from their last five games and a possible 15. That sequence of four defeats from five league games has ended with the sacking of manager Garry Monk, with former boss Brendan Rodgers, recently sacked by Liverpool, being tipped with a shock return to the Liberty Stadium.
