The West Indies went down by 177 runs to Australia in the second test at the Melbourne cricket ground today.

Set 460 for victory, the Caribbean side was bowled out for 282 on today’s fourth day.

Denesh Ramdin (59) and Rajendra Chandrika (37) were the other main scorers for the West Indies.

Mitchell Marsh (4 for 61) and Nathan Lyon (3 for 85) were the main wicket takers for the Australians.

The Ausies now lead the three-match series 2-nil.
