Ja whipped 9-3 at Futsal tourney

Jamaica were whipped 9-3 by Guadeloupe in their opening match of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Futsal championship at the Sala Polivalente Kid Chocolate Complex in Cuba on Friday evening.

The eight-team tourney will see the top three teams advancing to the CONCACAF championship scheduled for March 8-15 in Costa Rica.

Jamaica were scheduled to close the preliminary stage against hosts Cuba last night. The Jamaica team is under the guidance of former Reggae Boy and national senior coach Theodore Whitmore.
