Mattocks is being pursued by a club in the Chinese Super League, but a deal is far from complete.

National striker Darren Mattocks could be headed to the Chinese Super League as speculation over his future with US  Major League Soccer (MLS) team Vancouver Whitecaps continues to grow.

According to Sports illustrated, Mattocks is being pursued by a club in the Chinese Super League, but a deal is far from complete.

If it goes through, Mattocks would be the second MLS player to head to China in recent times following Obafemi Martins.

A deal for Mattocks will have to happen within the next week as the Chinese transfer deadline is set to close on February 26.
