Jamaica was leading Chile 1-0 in their friendly international in Santiago at half-time.

Clayton Donaldson gave the Reggae Boyz the lead over the world number three ranked team with a 36th minute strike.

The Jamaicans had a great start and could have gone 3-0 up in the first 15 minutes but Giles Barnes, Lee Williamson and Donaldson all wasted great opportunities to put the visitors in front.

But late in the half, Je-Vaughn Watson slipped a pass to the Gareth McCleary down the right and the tricky winger's low cross found the Birmingham City striker, who didn't get the best first touch but reacted sharply to toe the ball past the advancing goalkeeper from six yards.

The Chileans, who also had their chances in the half, kept the Jamaicans under constant pressure for the last five minutes of the half, but the Boyz held their lead to the break.
