Digicel gives basketballers trip to NBA Finals
Game Three of the NBA Finals between Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will be a special moment for Owen McKoy, co-captain of Jamaica's Special Olympics basketball team and Daniel Jones, point guard and captain of St Catherine High School. The boys were selected by Digicel to attend the game to at the Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland, Ohio.
McKoy was instrumental to Jamaica's success at the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, where they won a silver medal. He is presently the only Special Olympics basketball player in the Southern Conference Community League, where he represents his community, Majesty Gardens.
Also on his list of accolades is McKoy’s recent completion of the Level One coaches’ certification course at the GC Foster College.
Daniel Jones is one of the country’s top point guards at his level and is also a member of Jamaica's National Under 16 team preparing for the upcoming Caribbean Under 16 Championships to be held in Guyana in July.

The rewards, however, do not stop there, right throughout the summer even more customers will also be in for chances to win tickets to other premier sporting events.
The boys departed for Cleveland yesterday. Before returning to the island, the duo will attend the Reggae Boyz game against Mexico in the Copa America Centenario tomorrow in California.
