Boys' Town striker Shamar Nicholson scored both goals as Jamaica's under-20 footballers opened their Caribbean Football Union (CFU) under-20 Group D qualifiers with a 2-1 win over Dominica at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium yesterday.

Host the Dominican Republic and St Kitts and Nevis were down to contest the group's other game.

The young Reggae Boyz, who have been grouped with host the Dominican Republic, Dominica, and St Kitts and Nevis, will next play St Kitts tomorrow, while the Dominican Republic take on Dominica in the other game.

The top team from the group qualifies automatically for the final round, where the four respective group winners and the best three runner-ups will vie for the CFU Under-20 crown.
