Pullen books Rio spot in triple jump! #JaSeniorTrials

Clive Pullen produced a personal best 16.90m to win the men's triple jump at the JAAA/Supreme Ventures Limited National Senior Championships and book his ticket to the Rio Olympics.

Pullen, who came into the meet with a best of 16.78m, becomes the first Jamaican man since Henry Jackson in 1972, to qualify for the Olympic Games in the triple jump event. 

Second place in the event went to Damian McLean, who registered a 16.46m mark with Wilbert Walker, 16.42m finishing third.
