#JaSeniorTrials: 9.95 seconds win for Yohan Blake in 100m semi-final

Yohan Blake was not easing up as he bolted to 9.95 seconds to win semi-final two and post the fastest qualifying time in advancing to this evening’s final of the men’s 100m at the JAAA National Senior Championships at the National Stadium.

Nickel Ashmeade was second, and the second fastest qualifier in 10.01, with former national champion Asafa Powell third in 10.02 seconds.

Meanwhile, Usain Bolt struggled out of the blocks but managed to win semi-final one.

Bolt had to come from behind to win in a time of 10.04 seconds ahead of Jevaughn Minzie, 10.07 seconds.

The men's final is scheduled for 9:15 tonight.
