Jamaica Tallawahs restrict Amazon Warriors to 128 for six

Outstanding bowling from left-arm spinner Imad Wasim and fast bowler Dayle Steyn gave the Jamaica Tallawahs the early advantage against HERO Metocorp Caribbean Premier League Twenty20 leaders Guyana Amazon Warriors at Sabina Park.

Sent in to bat, the Amazon Warriors were restricted to a below-par 128 for six off their 20 overs with Wasim claiming two for 12 off his maximum four overs and Dayle Steyn 2-31.

Another left-arm spinner, Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh, took the other wicket to fall.

Leading the way for Guyana was in-form batsman Jason Mohammed who ended unbeaten on 46 and Chris Lynn, 33.
