MONTE CARLO, Monaco:
Triple jumper Kimberly Williams, was left feeling a bit disappointed after failing to better the 14.66 she did to win her fifth consecutive national title two weeks ago.

Williams could only manage 14.47m at the Herculis IAAF Diamond League meet, which placed her third.

“I am not really pleased, because based on what I did two weeks ago I thought I was going to do better today,” Williams said. “But I am just thankful because I am healthy and ready to take on what’s next.”

The event was won by world champion Caterine Ibarguen of Columbia with a mark of 14.96m.

World indoor champion Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela took second with a distance of 14.64.
