Raheem Chambers finish sixth in 100m at World Under-20 Championships

Raheem Chambers finished sixth in the final of the boys' 100m at the IAAF World Under-20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland today.

Raheem Chambers finished sixth in the final of the boys' 100m at the IAAF World Under-20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland today.

Chambers, who was slow off the blocks, clocked 10.30 seconds in the event which was won by American Noah Lyles in 10.17 seconds.

Filippo Tortu of Italy was second in 10.24 seconds while third went to Barbados' Mario Burke in 10.26 seconds.

Meanwhile, Tiffany James and Junelle Bromfield both advanced to the final of the girls' 400m.

James clocked a personal 51.77 seconds to win her semi-finals in a canter.

Bromfield also advance to the final after finishing second in her semifinals heat in 52.18 seconds.

The event was won Australia’s Jessica Thorton who ran a personal best 52.12 seconds.
