NRDC meet three on today

Xavier Murray's Honda Civic, which posted record times in a recent meet at Vernamfield, Clarendon.

The first two meets were amazing and event organisers are promising that today's National Drag Racing Circuit (NDRC) third race meet will be an action-packed, entertaining and unforgettable one at the Vernamfield Motorsports Park in Clarendon.

Title and championship sponsors Supligen have revealed that everything is in place for a show of speed.

Action on the race track will get underway at 7:30 a.m., with general admission costing $1,000 while children under the age of 12 will enter free. Entrance fee to the covered stands is $2,000.

One of the big performances at the last meet came from Xavier Murray in a Honda Civic as he shattered a front-wheel drive meet record.

Raffique Golaub, in his Mitsubishi Evolution 8, Craig Lue, in his Nissan Skyline GTR, Neville Hogg's Toyota Supra, and Seymore Anderson's Nissan Sentra also clocked some very fast times.

Meanwhile, fans can also expect to see cabbie Michael Allijohn in his super-fast station wagon, exciting female driver Diane Foulks, and the veteran Dean Shaw in his Chevrolet Camaro.
