Caymanas Track Limited (CTL) has advice the public that tomorrow's 12 race programme has been abandon because of an impasse between its management and its engineering department.

CTL says in a statement today that discussions were held between its management led by the chairman, Danville Walker, and the Union representing the employees today after which engineers decided to withdraw their services.

Disgruntled workers from the Engineer Department took industrial action on Thursday over issues pertaining to trainee workers being assigned to that department.

The betting company also says After a brief review of its computer systems by the overseas service provider it was discovered that critical files needed to operate the system were missing.

CTL says they have decided to refer the matter to the Cyber Crime Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force to carry out further investigations.

It says as a result there will be an interruption of local races until further notice. But it says Simulcast races will continue as usual.
