#RioGoldRush: Jamaica's history-making diver through to semi-finals

Jamaica’s Yona Knight-Wisdom is among the 18 divers moving on to the semi-final of the men’s 3m springboard event at the Olympic Games.

The 21-year-old finished the preliminary round in his first Olympic Games with a total of 416.55 points, good for 11th position out of the 29 divers who participated.

Knight-Wisdom, who was born in the United Kingdom, got the highest score of 79.05 for his sixth and final dive of the preliminary round. His other scores were 63, 66, 76.50, 70.50 and 61.50.

The semi-finals is scheduled for tomorrow at 8 a.m. Jamaica time.
