Action in the ISSA-FLOW Manning Cup resumes today after the disruption caused by the passage of Hurricane Matthew.

The games that were originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday will be played today.

With the battle for spots in the next stage in high gear, there are some interesting match-ups today.

For the second stage a total of 16 teams will qualify, including the seven group winners and runners-up, as well as the two best third-place teams.

St George’s College will look to continue on their impressive run when they face lowly Tivoli Gardens in Group A at Winchester Park.

The Neville Bell-coached St George’s are highly fancied to score a big win against Tivoli. In the reverse fixture, St George’s won 2-0.

In day's other games, defending champions Jamaica College need a win against Eltham will cement an automatic spot from Group B.

Kingston College (KC) will seek to maintain the lead when they tackle Papine High in Group C at the National Stadium.

KC are on 19 points, just three ahead of Denham Town.

The North Street-based KC have scored 35 goals and conceded just once in seven games are highly fancied for another win today's game.

Haile Selassie will look for their second win against Jonathan Grant. Now, playing away, Haile Selassie will hunt maximum points to maintain the lead in Group D.

Haile Selassie are on top with 18 points from seven games and are  closely followed by St Catherine on 17 and Jonathan Grant on 16.
