The anti-doping whereabouts clause violation hearing for West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell will resume today at the Jamaica Conference Centre at 10:30 a.m.

Yesterday's scheduled sitting was postponed after independent panel member, Dr Majorie Vassell, failed to show.

When the hearing resumes, Russell's lawyers will continue their cross-examination of witness Nadia Vassell. The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission's executive director, Carey Brown, will also be cross-examined.

In explaining yesterday's postponement, panel chairman Hugh Faulkner said the hearing could have continued under Rule 8.3.4, which states that a hearing can proceed if a member is ill or unable to continue. However, he noted, in this case, that Vassell was inexplicably absent and all effort to contact her proved futile, thus the need for a postponement.
