Windies Women level series against England at Sabina Park
The West Indies Women have levelled their five-match one-day international series at 2-2 after recording a 42-run win over England Women at Sabina Park today.
West Indies first posted a competitive 223 for six off the maximum 50 overs before returning to restrict England to 181 with 5.4 overs remaining.
Captain and player-of-the-match, Stafanie Taylor, with a polished 85 led the way for the West Indies with solid support coming from opener Shaquana Quintyne, 41, and former captain Merissa Aguilleira, 32.
Taylor, with three for 29, then led somewhat of a bowling comeback to restrict the visitors, who were cruising one stage at 137 for two.
The fifth and deciding game is set for the same venue on Wednesday.
