JC celebrate again
Jamaica College won a fourth straight ISSA-FLOW Manning Cup title, and their 28th overall, after clipping Wolmer's Boys 2-1 in tonight's final at the National Stadium.
Tyreke Magee in the 16th minute and Donovan Dawkins (25th) were the heroes for JC.
"It feels so good to score the winning goal in a final again, I didn't score many in the season but I am happy with this one," Dawkins said.
Wolmer's got their consolation goal on the stroke of half-time from their leading marksman Alphonso Gooden.
JC's coach Miguel Coley said his team set out to win the game from the opening whistle.
"We had to put them on the back foot from early, and hats off to my guys," he outlined.
Wolmer's coach Vassell Reynolds called it "a very tough loss," bemoaning his team's failure to win a final in 22 years.
