Groom Courtney Newman could not contain his excitement after his horse, DREAMING THE CODE, with Harriston Lewis aboard, won last Saturday's 10th race at Caymanas Park. The winner is owned and trained by Carl Anderson. Anderson is also the breeder of the three-year-old filly.

TOMORROW's 10-race programme at Caymans Park offers a $4.4 million Pick-9 carryover from Wednesday, ensuring a payout of close to $6 million if caught.

There is also a Super-6 carryover of $1.2 million embracing races five to 10. We look at the first Super-6, which commences with a $250,000 - $210,000 claiming race over 1200 metres to be contested by seven starters, including the recent course winner TWILIGHT CITIZEN with outgoing champion jockey Shane Ellis again in the saddle ABOGADO, and MESMERIZE.

Significantly, the race marks the return to Jamaica of former champion jockey Dick Cardenas following a two-year absence, the quiet Panamanian down to ride MESMERIZE for his former guv'nor, trainer Anthony 'Baba' Nunes.

Although struggling for form in recent months, MESMERIZE has less to do in present company and could provide Cardenas with a win right off the bat. Still, TWILIGHT CITIZEN won well enough over this trip on November 5 to secure my vote ahead of MESMERIZE and ABOGADO, who beat all barring ZEUS over 1100 metres on November 19.

Nunes holds a strong hand with the pair of RUBY ROSE and HEY CHAMP in the second race over a mile for maiden three-year-olds. They finished third and fourth, respectively, to their more fancied stable-companion LATE N DRAFTY over 1820 metres last Saturday, and in this weaker field, could fight it out. Preference, however, is for the lightly raced DONOFTHETOWN, who was not beaten far over shorter distances in his last two races. Arthur Budhu will ride the three-year-old bay gelding for trainer Donovan Plummer, who could well take the first double with TWILIGHT CITIZEN.

They all have the course specialist FIFTYONESTORM to beat in the third race over the straight for $350,000 - $300,000 claiming horses. The five-year-old mare was claimed by trainer Albert Chong from Robert Darby Sr after winning three of her last four races (twice over the straight) and with top apprentice Bebeto Harvey in the saddle, should prove too strong for FRANKENSTORM in a field of seven.

The recent winner, SCOOP JORDYNE, now taking orders from trainer Lawrence Freemantle after being claimed as a winner last time out, is highly fancied to repeat in the fourth race over 1200 metres for high claimers despite the presence of WELL BLESSED and DRIPPING IN GOLD, two very fit horses. Leading jockey Omar Walker will ride SCOOP JORDYNE in an eight-horse field.

The last two races in the first Super-6 should be won by IDON'TKNOW with apprentice Hakeem Pottinger and the speedy MANDEYA In the CTL Stable Riders' Race over 800 metres straight.
