Beckham in awe after 'I am Bolt'
Former England football captain David Beckham has praised multiple Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt after watching his documentary I Am Bolt.
Beckham, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, posted on his Instagram page yesterday stating that he believes everyone, including aspiring athletes, can learn from Bolt's journey.
He also describes the film as a must-see.
"I have just watched I Am Bolt and I know I posted before about the fastest man in the world and friend but if you haven't seen this please you must," Beckham said.
"Yes, as we know, Usain is fast, really fast. We know Usain is Jamaican, but what we all learn and what all the aspiring athletes can learn is to work hard, be dedicated, and be honest.
"This is a man that has his friends close, he has his family close. Usain is humble, humble to the point he brings me to tears when speaking and when winning races. There is no doubt he is the greatest and there is no doubt this man is the most humble athlete genius you will meet."
I Am Bolt premiered in the United Kingdom on November 28 at the Odeon Leicester Square cinemas and in Jamaica last Tuesday night at the National Indoor Sports Complex.
The film showcases the life of the world's fastest man and his journey to becoming a nine-time Olympic champion.
Bolt recently said the purpose of the documentary is to impact lives and inspire others by the way he achieved his success.
