West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin is now out of hospital following an on-field accident.

She was playing for Brisbane Heat against Melbourne Stars in the Women's Big Bash League at Allan Border field in Australia when she collided head first with team-mate Laura Harris on the boundary.

Her x-rays and tests will be reviewed by the doctors and the next course of action decided by tomorrow.

The West Indies Cricket Board has tweeted that Dottin's cheek bone would "most likely" require surgery, which could be done later in the week in Brisbane.
