Marooners beat Scorpions by 75 runs

Combined Campuses and Colleges Marooners defeated Jamaica Scorpions by 75 runs, in the opening game of the Regional Super50 at 3Ws Oval in Barbados today.

Batting first, the Marooners made 215 for eight in their 50 overs with Amir Jangoo topscoring with 64 runs. He was well supported by Ryan Hinds who scored 39 not out and Cassius Burton, who chipped in with 32. 

Damion Jacobs was the most successful bowler for the Scorpions with two wickets for 22 runs. 

In reply the Jamaican team was bundled out for 140 runs in 35 overs. 

Brandon King with 48 runs and Nikita Miller (25 not out) offered the most resistance while Mark Deyal 3-22 and Keon Harding 3-30 did the damage for the Marooners.
