Pamplona, SPAIN:

SportsMax's La Liga Experience winner Calvin Palache got the VIP treatment on Saturday as he and his guest, Tishana Sharpe, watched Real Madrid take on host Osasuna at the El Sadar Stadium in Pamplona Spain.

But in addition to watching the match live, the two were in for several other surprises along the way, which left them with memories to be cherished for the rest of their lives.

The duo got official Real Madrid jerseys, which were later signed by several first team players, as well as Osasuna jerseys with their names printed on the back.

"The highlight was seeing the Real Madrid players up close. CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo) signed my jersey and also Sergio Ramos and Marcelo. I got 12 Real Madrid players' autographs," a beaming Palache said.

HAPPY TO SEE A WIN

Palache was also thrilled with the result as Real Madrid came away 1-3 winners courtesy of goals from Isco, Lucas Vazquez, and his idol, Ronaldo.

Osasuna's top scorer, Sergio Leon, had levelled the scores going into the interval to ensure that it was a competitive match.

"Hala Madrid! I got to watch Ronaldo play live, and he scored and did the celebration. What more could I ask for?" Palache said.

"It was just great, and I got to sit down in the VIP box and see Florentino Perez (Real Madrid FC's President) and also Osasuna's president (Luis Sabalza)."

As for Sharpe, she was most impressed with the atmosphere and how hospitable the Osasuna staff was.

"The experience was great! We got to tour the stadium and met very nice people," Sharpe said. "The Osasuna staff was just great. They were welcoming and very friendly."

Palache, who, when he had first found out he was winner of the competition, which is into its second year and sees SportsMax team up with the world's most star-studded football league, La Liga, thought it to be a prank and is still in awe.

"It still seems like a dream, but it came true for real, and I am grateful," he said. "This couldn't have happened without SportsMax and La Liga, so I really appreciate it."
