#glnrCHAMPS: Holmwood girls narrow lead after Javelin win

Holmwood Technical narrowed the lead Edwin Allen held to four points after victory in the Girls Javelin Throw Open event which Georgette Samuels won with a distance of 46.64 m this morning.

Last year's winner Sah-jay Stevens of St Jago could only muster second despite a much better distance than she did last year with 46.05m. In 2016 she threw 43.60m to win.

Third place went to Kimoy Phillips of Petersfield with a distance of 43.08m.

After seven finals the points standings were:

Edwin Allen 40 points,

Holmwood Technical 36 points,

Hydel 35 points,

St Jago 34 points,

Excelsior 33 points.
