#glnrChamps: Edwin Allen's Davis makes up for 100m disappointment with 200m record

Edwin Allen dynamo Kevona Davis erased Anneisha McLaughlin's 16-year Class Two Girls 200m record, stopping the clock at 23.07 seconds at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships at the National Stadium.

Davis, who was ejected from the 100m final on Friday after a false start ruling, made up for that disappointment with a dominating performance, which left silver medal winner Joanne Reid (St Jago) and Gabrielle Matthews (Hydel) without an answer.

McLaughlin clocked 23.11 while representing Holmwood Technical in 2001.
