Rising star Demish Gaye captured the men’s 400m event at the Jamaica International Invitational Meet inside the National Stadium on Saturday.

The fast improving Gaye, who ran a personal of 44.85 two-weeks ago at the JAAA All Comers meet at the same venue, beat a good field to win the event in 45.08. Kevin Borlee of Belgium was second in 45.52, while third went to Tony McQuay of the USA in 45.73.
