Kendel signs on as nutrition partner for JC Manning Cup team

The Jamaica College Manning Cup team will have an added tool in their arsenal this season, having signed a sponsorship deal with Kendel Foods.

As part of the sponsorship, Kendel will provide the team with food items throughout the season. At a signing ceremony at Kirk Distributors Limited on Wednesday, July 19, a cash donation of $200,000 was also presented to assistant team manager Darren Virtue.

The Kendel brand, which is owned by Kirk Distributors, features an extensive range of food products including canned mackerel and sausages, vegetables, jasmine rice and coconut milk powder.

In 2016, Jamaica College created history as they defeated Wolmer's Boys' in the final of the Manning Cup to secure their fourth consecutive title.
