Wolmer's Boys and Tivoli Gardens High will meet in a top-of-the-table clash in Group A of the ISSA-FLOW Manning Cup competition, today, at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Both teams are locked on nine points apiece after three games in the preliminary stage. However, Wolmer's have scored 15 times with none against for a plus-15 goal difference, while Tivoli scored ten times and also conceded none for a plus 10 goal difference.

With that scenario it is an interesting clash as the winner will have sole leadership of the group.

Wolmer's is in hot form and touted as one of the early favourites for the Manning Cup title this year.

Coach of Wolmer's, Rudolph Speid, said that the game is a huge clash for both teams.

"I think it is the big one (game) in the group. Both teams have won their three games, and although it is early time, anybody who win tomorrow (today) will take control of the group," Speid told The Gleaner yesterday.

Speid also said that he will continue to use the rotation system as the plan is to give the players playing time during the preliminary stage.

Wolmer's key players include captain Rivaldo English, who has netted three times, Nickashaye Murray, Mario Sailsman, Kemo Wilson, goalkeeper Taj Griffiths, and 15-year-old striker Revaldo Mitchell.

On the other hand, Tivoli will look to collect maximum points at home. They have been performing well in winning all games played.

In a crucial Group B encounter, surprise leaders Mona High will face Bridgeport High.

The Mona team are on top in the group on six points, closely followed by Bridgeport, St Andrew Technical High and defending champions Jamaica College on five points each.
