JPS-BHBA Play-offs tip off tomorrow

After a slight delay, the 2017 Business House Basketball Association (BHBA) Play-offs will tip off tomorrow.

The BHBA executive has successfully negotiated and finalised a deal with the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) to sponsor the cost of the lights and air conditioning associated with normal operations of the National Indoor Sports Centre (NISC). The play-offs will now be rebranded the JPS-BHBA Play-offs.

The league is divided in two divisions, and there are eight teams in each division vying for top honours.

Defending champions for Division One are Bank of Jamaica, who are undefeated. They will face National Commercial Bank tomorrow. Urban Development Corporation from Division Two are also undefeated, and they will face Jamaica Fire Brigade.

Other matchups in Division One tomorrow will be National Housing Trust vs Scotiabank; RJRGleaner vs Ministry of Education; and Sagicor 'A' vs Seprod. Over in Division Two, it's Courts vs ICD Group; Conduent vs Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority/Aerotel; and Jamaica Money Market Brokers vs Sagicor 'B'.

All games will be played on Mondays and Wednesdays, starting at 6 p.m. each day.
