Burrell lecture on at Courtleigh

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) will host the second in the Captain Horace Burrell Lecture Series in commemoration of the first anniversary of the passing of its past president today at 7 p.m..

The Lecture Series was announced by the JFF last year to honour Captain Burrell who passed on June 6, 2017. The lecture which comes a week before the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia will be held at the Courtleigh Auditorium.

Today's guest lecture will be delivered on the topic" Jamaica in the 2022 World Cup Finals - Pipe Dream or Attainable" by Christopher Samuda, president of the Jamaica Olympic Association. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion including invited representatives from the public; media; private and football sectors.

The welcome will be given by the children of Captain Horace Burrell: Tiffany Burrell-Piggott; Romario Burrell and Jaeden Burrell.

The public is invited to attend and participate in the event.
