CALABAR High's outstanding sprinter, Christopher Taylor, continues to pile up the records.

On Saturday he equalled the National Junior 100 metres record with a sizzling run at the National Stadium.

Competing in a special 100 metres race for Under-20 athletes preparing for the IAAF World Under-20 Championships in Tampere Finland, Taylor stopped the clock at 10.11 seconds to win the event and in the process equalled Yohan Blake's National Junior mark set at the 2007 Carifta Games in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Taylor recently set a National Junior record for the 400 metres when he clocked 44.86 seconds to win the National Senior title. The previous mark, 44.93, was set by Akeem Bloomfield.
