Former national TT player passed

Former national table tennis player, Jasper Adams has passed.

Adams died after a long illness at his home last Tuesday.

A former YMCA defensive player, Adams was known for his heavy chop returns before coming in for a telling smash.

He represented Jamaica in the early years of the West Indies Table Tennis Championships in the company of Fuarnado Roberts, Leo Davis, Glen Mitchell, Jeff Lewis, Maurice Foster, and Dave Foster.

Adams was also fond of jazz music.
