DOHA 2019 | Kemar Mowatt qualifies for 400m hurdles semi-finals

Four hundred metre hurdler Kemar Mowatt qualified for the semi-finals of the Men's 400m hurdles at the IAAF World Championships, placing fourth with a time of 49.63 seconds in heat 1 of the first round.

The race was won by Karsten Warholm of Norway in 49.27 seconds.

Thomas Barr of the Republic of Ireland came second in 49.41 seconds and Jabir Madari Pillyalil of India came third in 49.62 seconds.

The first four from each heat in the 400m hurdles first-round qualify automatically and after that, the next four fastest qualifiers.
